A journey to the Erlebnishotel "Zur Schiffsmühle" is an experience for young and old. Take relaxing bike tours along the Mulde (Mulderadweg), hike the "Weg der Steine" or the Muldental hiking trail or take a boat trip across the river, explore the surroundings of Grimma or simply leave your children on our mini golf course and the large adventure playground in the wild.
In our bowling grotto you can push a quiet ball on modern lanes with UV-lighting or go on excursions, for example to the Jutta Park with Bismarck Tower, to the Denkmalschmiede Kaditzsch or to the monastery ruins in Nimbschen. Höfgen - the village of the senses - and its surroundings offer you ideal conditions for a relaxing (short) vacation; also as a haven of peace after an extensive shopping or cultural tour through Leipzig. Bowling grotto
Our bowling grotto with real rock walls offers you an unforgettable evening full of excitement. Be it a duel on one of our 3 bowling alleys or a cozy football evening with your friends in the bar.
Sauna Area
Our sauna area with steam sauna (closed), infrared sauna, Finnish sauna, ice fountain, Kneipp pool, showers, indoor relaxation area and an outdoor relaxation area with a direct view of the hollow invites you to relax.
"Schiffmühle" Museum
This special form of the mill died out entirely at the end of the 19th century. This mill was rebuilt in the early 1990s and now serves as a supply for the water systems in Jutta Park and explains the history of these mills.
Mini golf
Skill, concentration and a good eye are the most important properties that a good mini golf player must have in order to make the small ball disappear in the target hole with as few strokes as possible. Muldeschifffahrt

Inflatable boat tours
Various tours are offered on the Mulde river, varying from 2-4 hours. Depending on the water level of the Mulde, between 6 and 10 people fit in the boats.

Culinary walk through the village (Dorfspaziergang)
This walk is a three-hour mixture of history and cheerful anecdotes as well as delicious delicacies from the Saxon Burgenland. Walking and tasting with the bread roll through one of the most beautiful villages in Saxony, that means: surprising and regional delights and all sorts of sensual experiences for body and soul.
