The family-run adventure hotel “Zur Schiffsmühle”, located in the idyllic “Village of the Senses – Höfgen”, is the perfect place for weddings, family celebrations, conferences, and team events in the heart of the Mulde Valley. Surrounded by beautiful nature, situated in northern Saxony and just a few kilometers from Leipzig, we combine Saxon hospitality with modern amenities, diverse leisure opportunities, and a touch of holiday atmosphere.
Our guests can look forward to cozy rooms furnished with stone pine wood, the “Mühlenstube” restaurant serving regional cuisine, as well as a wide range of leisure activities: our bowling grotto, a mini-golf course with snack bar, the adventure playground, and the historic “Schiffmühle” museum. Relaxation awaits in our sauna area with panoramic views of the Mulde or during peaceful walks through Jutta Park with its Bismarck Tower.
Your wedding or family celebration is especially close to our hearts: in a festive atmosphere, with great attention to detail and personalized service, we create memories that last – from the open-air wedding ceremony to the last dance. Bright, modern conference rooms and a welcoming outdoor area also provide the perfect setting for successful seminars and workshops.
The hotel is also an ideal starting point for cycling tours along the Mulde Cycle Path, hikes through the Mulde Valley, rafting trips, or a boat ride on the Mulde.

Our tastefully furnished 41 non-smoking rooms are equipped with shower, WC, telephone, free Wi-Fi, and high-quality Swiss stone pine furniture, which creates a healthy indoor climate and ensures deep, restorative sleep. For smokers, we are happy to reserve a balcony room on request. With the exception of the “Mühle” double rooms, all rooms are accessible by elevator.

The Restaurant Mühlenstube at the Adventure Hotel “Zur Schiffsmühle” is located in the idyllic Village of the Senses – Höfgen. It combines modern, creative cuisine with a charming rural atmosphere.
